Marathone on the second day of the Slovenian Open Driving Championship confirmed the results and ranking orders of the dressage test. Lipica Equestrian Club driver Miha Tavčar drove to the victory once again with his Lipizzaners with 61,82 points. With the overall score of 110,35 points he claimed the leading position after the first two days of the Slovenian Championship, too.
Lipica Stud Farm drivers Mitja Mahorčič and Marko Memon came second and third with the results of 67,53 points and 71,16 points. In the overall ranking of the Slovenian Championship they mantained their second and third position as well, with 122,25 and 136,97 points.
Robert Vrhovnik was the best marathone driver in the M2 cathegory with 52,08 points, leading also in the National Championship with 110,21 points after two days of competition. A new name came on the top in the cathegory M1. Igor Trebec took the first place in marathone with 49,39 points and the leading position in the overall ranking with 118,72 points.
In the open competition for horse pairs the victory went once again to Hungary. This time the winner was Sandor Margitai (57,25 points), while Zoltan Sipos claimed first place in the overall ranking after two days with 107,18 points. Miha Tavčar took the third place, while Mitja Mahorčič drove to the sixth place.
In the S1 cathegory Renate Eccher was the only and also the best competitor.
The cones test will decide final results tomorrow. The competition will start at 9.00 in the open arena.
