The Governement of the Republic of Slovenija has appointed dr. Boštjan Bizjak the Acting General Manager of the Lipica Stud Farm for another year or until the General Manager is appointed.

From October 11th till October 13th Lipica Stud Farm successfully hosted an FEI Level 1 & 2 Course for Promotion and Maintenance for Candidate and International Judges and for Candidate and International Technical Delegates.

From October 8th till October 13th Lipica Stud Farm successfully hosted two clinics with the German »horse whisperer« Hans-Jürgen Neuhauser. The first clinic from October 8th till October 11th was for the Lipica Stud Farm riders only, the second clinc from October 11th till October 13th was open for the horse-lovers from all over Slovenia.

On October 10th, Lipica Stud Farm hosted the premiere of the documentary film »Lipica. The place that gave its name to the horse«. The documentary was made by Maja Kirar in the production of RTV Slovenija and its regional center RTV Koper Capodistria in close cooperation with the Lipica Stud Farm.

The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland Mr. Jari Koskinen visited the Lipica Stud Farm for the second time. After the Lipizzaner musem Lipikum he visited the »Velbanca« stable with breeding stallions inside.
