You will learn about their character traits and understand why Lipizzan horses are renowned for their calmness, intelligence, and nobility, as well as how they think, learn, and cooperate with humans.
The program takes place in the riding hall of Lipica Stud Farm and includes a professional presentation and a demonstration of working with a Lipizzan horse. Experienced Lipica riders will introduce you to the daily life and work with the horses and will gladly answer your questions and share interesting facts from the world of the Lipizzan horse.
“Meet the Lipizzan horse” is a unique opportunity for visitors of all ages to deepen their understanding of the horse and discover the rich tradition of Lipica Stud Farm, where a special bond between humans and the Lipizzan horse has been developing for centuries.

The stud farm can only be visited as part of a guided tour, which lasts approximately 60 minutes. With a guide, you will visit the oldest stable Velbanca, the carriage exhibition, the Lipikum Museum, the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, the souvenir shop, and much more. The guided tour is available in Slovenian and English.
