The Lipica Open Disc Golf Tournament 2023
Disk golf is a sport that is played similarly to traditional golf, but instead of a club and a ball, players use a frisbee. The Lipica Open tournament will take place from April 28th to 30th in Lipica, Slovenia.
In Slovenia, the first disc golf course was established in 2012 in Kope, followed by courses in Mežica, Ljubljana, Areh, and other locations. Lipica also got its own disc golf course in 2020.
Lipica Open is also an opportunity to promote this sport and encourage people to get involved in playing it. Beginners can take advantage of the opportunity to attend workshops that will take place during the tournament and learn the basics of playing this sport.
